Kanye West worked on his line at the Louis Vuitton headquarters while wearing designer shades, a yellow jacket, a turquoise polo, khakis, and a pair of Nike Air Yeezys. The rapper/fashion guru paired up with LV designer Fabrizio Vitti to work on the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton line that’ll drop later on this year and into the next.
The latest colorway for the Nike Air Yeezy has surfaced in a net/net form. These Yeezy’s promise to be great especially with the net colored premium leather along with the white midsole and hot pink inner lining. Who could forget the glow in the dark sole? The shoes resemble a pair of Timberlands with its color, but with a lot more class. These kicks are set to release at select Footlocker accounts in the beginning of June, so be on the lookout for ‘em!
Every once in a while, a sneaker threatens to usurp Jordan Brand’s monopoly of popular weekend sneaker releases. This time around, the Nike Air Yeezy is that sneaker, and it has definitely caused a stir in the industry ever since it was first seen around a year ago. The Nike Air Yeezy is set to release in extremely limited quantities at a retail price of $215; thus, many sneakerheads may have to forget the Yeezy, and end up copping some Air Jordans instead.
This weekend, Jordan Brand is set to release a plethora of sneakers including the first couple colorways of the Air Jordan 2.5 Team 5/8 as well as an Easter Basket Pack and a Polka Dot Pack. A Georgetown Hoyas inspired Air Jordan Phly Legend is also set to release tomorrow, April 4, 2009. The Easter Basket Pack is composed of an Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid, an Air Jordan Phly Legend, and an Air Jordan I Retro Low Velcro. The Polka Dot Pack will release in the form of an Air Jordan 1 Mid and an Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. Jordan Brand will also continue their AJ1 High Strap series with a new black/university blue colorway. This upcoming Spring, Nike Air Yeezy fans will finally see Kanye West’s signature shoe release. The highly anticipated sneaker has surfaced in a few unique color schemes with even more scheduled to release this year. Adding to the different choices include color schemes like the black/pink, zen grey/light charcoal and tan beige. Each sneaker consists of different characteristics including various textures on the strap, back heel panel and peforated leather.
